Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on happiness by referring to the saying “Happiness is not the absence of problems, but the ability to deal with them.” You can cite examples to illustrate your point and then explain how you can develop your ability to deal with problems and be happy. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

It is quite provoking to hear an old saying “Happiness is not the absence of problems, but the ability to deal with them.” The saying aims at informing us of a truth that hardly can anyone gain their happiness without striving. There are sufficient reasons and evidence to testify the righteousness of my understanding. (54)（第一段对谚语进行了解释，最后一句话引出下面将要举的例子）

First and foremost, hardly can anyone achieve their goals without the ability to solve the difficulties.（倒装句） By dealing with the problem and frustration in their lives, the modern residents will understand the true meaning of happiness and cherish their happy time with friends and families. The most famous disable female writer Zhang Hai Di is a case in point. She practiced so hard to move with the help of wheelchair and learn to write articles to cheer youngsters up.
